"Writing is a lonely job. Having someone who believes in you makes a lot of difference. They don’t have to make speeches. Just believing is usually enough."

With deference to the genius of David Bowie, here’s Space Oddity, recorded on Station. A last glimpse of the World.

Huge thanks in the making of the video to the talented trio of Emm Gryner, Joe Corcoran and Andrew Tidby, plus Evan Hadfield and all at the CSA.

Wow!  Well done, Commander.  And, welcome home!

Beautiful and bittersweet.

I just finished Six Feet Under. I’m grieving. Holy shit.

Destroy Me

I can tell you how to destroy me.
And I kind of wish you would.
All you need to do is confirm my worst fears.
And end my deepest doubts.

The only thing convincing me to hold on to hope
Is the sound of my own voice.
Not that it tells me to hope,
But it is the only voice bringing me down.

Agree with me, out loud and unwavering.
Confirm my suspicions of narcissism and incompetence.
Tell me I’m correct in believing I’m trapped in the machine.
This is how to destroy me.

Take the seed of truth from inside me and plant it outside my window.
So I can see it as a real thing and not just an theory.
